Version 1.11 of the Conformance Test Policy is now available in the Documents section. The lab is also ready to begin testing to the new version.

The Write Registers tests Register Offsets have been changed, and the SEMI Object Messaging test now requests a different service code and attribute.

These changes have been found necessary after testing with the Version 1.1 Policy.

The lab is now ready to begin testing devices to Conformance Test Policy 1.1.

Version 1.1 of the Conformance Test Policy is now available in the Documents section. This test includes revisions, more function codes, and a register sweep for FC 03.

The lab will be available for testing to this Policy on June 1st, 2000.

The lab has completed its move. Check the Directions page for information. The Conformance Test Policy has been written and will be posted soon. More equipment and cabling have also been received. Development of the Conformance Test Software is underway and unofficial preliminary testing of the lab's devices will begin in the coming weeks.

With the offical kick-off of the lab approaching on 3 April 2000, the website received a major overhaul. Please send any comments on the new layout to modbus@eecs.umich.edu.

Lab Director, James Moyne, and Lab Manager, Warren Strong met with Lanny Metcalf and Brent Davis of Schneider Electric to discuss the progress of the lab. Phase 1 testing is slated to begin 3 April 2000.
