Georgia Tech ICE Summer Camps 2014

Summer Camp 2014 Application


You can find materials to help you start computing summer camps at Materials for Computing Summer Camps.

The Institute for Computing Education (ICE) is offering the following programs listed below. The camps all start at 9:00am and end at 3:00pm. On Fridays we have a parent show from 2pm - 3pm. We are offering additional hours from 3pm-6pm on Monday through Thursday each week for an extra fee of $60. We will not have after-care on Fridays. We do some recreation with the students each week such as visit the pool one afternoon. We provide lunch and a t-shirt. The camps will take place in the College of Computing, Room 345. Application Process
  1. Submit application and teacher recommendation. (A confirmation email will be sent to you to confirm receipt of your application. This is NOT your acceptance email.)
  2. Pay non-refundable $20 application fee. Applications will not be reviewed without the application fee.
  3. An acceptance email will be sent to you. Once received, we ask that you make your online payment for the camp fee to secure your child’s space in our camp. You will have 2 weeks from the date of the acceptance email to make your payment. If your child was not accepted, you will receive notification from us.
  4. Limited financial aid will be available for families that meet one of the following requirements: a) student is on free or reduced lunch program OR b) student lives in a family with an income of less than $35,000 per year. (Appropriate documentation is required)
Please note that not everyone that applies will be accepted into our summer camp programs. Camp selections are not done on a first come first served basis. One of our goals is to encourage groups that are under-represented in computing.

Cancellation Policy
If a cancellation is done more than 2 weeks in advance, we will provide a full refund minus the $20 application fee.
