Buescher "Grande" tenor trombone, serial #203644. 7-inch bell, silver, bell engraved with "Highland Park Board of Education", among other things. (See a picture of the bell here. ) Some of the engraving on the bell appears to be guilded. No slide lock. Joint between slide and bell section is straight joint, not tapered, and fastens by tightening a screw. (See picture here. This does not look like a modern trombone.) I got this trombone at an antique shop for $70.00. It's in amazingly good shape, considering its age and origin, and plays OK.
