Besson Sovereign euphonium, serial #549848. Four piston valves (4th valve compensating), satin silver, 11-inch bell, .580 bore. Originally laquered brass, silver plated by Giardinelli. I bought this in High School; it still plays well, but the silver has worn through in lots of places.
