Steve's Technology Page

This is a collection of technical information and procedures that I have written or found on the Internet.

SDR information

SDRplay has released a set of installation scripts that may be helpful. You can find them in a zip file on https://www.sdrplay.com/downloads/. Look for Build Scripts 0.2 under ARM RSP1A / Raspberry Pi OS. Click on CubicSDR. They do not install everything on these pages.

Click here to download a preconfigured disk image for a Raspberry Pi 4 with an SDRplay RSP1A on Raspberry Pi OS and the software in the instructions below. It will fit on a 32GB Micro SD card. 11GB download.
Click Here for help extracting the image and a list of the software on the disk image.
Let me know how it goes!

I am now building a 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS system.

Warning: These procedures have been tested as they were written on a newly installed system. It is not intended that you install this software on a working system unless you know what you are doing.
Installing this software on systems that have other versions of this software installed, particularly Qt or GNU Radio will likely break your system.
Applications should be installed after the basics in part 1 are installed, as they depend on the support in Part 1 at build time.
I make no promises that this information will work as intended, as you will be performing these procedures yourself.
