The Institute for Computing Education (ICE) is offering a workshop on Web Development on Thursday, May 5th from 8:30am - 4:00pm in room 345 of the College of Computing Building at Georgia Tech. Teachers will need to do 2 hours of extra work and participate in 1 webinar on Wednesday May 18th from 8pm - 9pm to get credit for the workshop (1 PLU). This workshop will introduce you to HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Teachers do not need any previous experience in web development to attend. All attendees will receive the book "Head First HTML with CSS and XHTML". We will reimburse for substitutes for Georgia teachers.

Public school middle and high school teachers must register on http://www.ctaern.org for workshop CTAERN3213 (new catalog). Everyone must also register at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/8JHVWLT.

This workshop is free for Georgia teachers, and if you live > 30 miles from Georgia Tech we will pay for your hotel for Wednesday night as well as Wednesday night dinner and Thursday breakfast. If you would prefer a private room you can pay 1/2 the hotel cost. We will cover parking for Georgia teachers who stay at the hotel and reimburse parking for Georgia teachers who do not stay at the hotel. We will pay for lunch for all teachers. Space is limited to 30.

Please bring a laptop if you have one, or notify us if you need to borrow a laptop.

Out-of-state teachers pay $140. Checks for $140.00 should be made out to Georgia Institute of Technology and sent to:
