Ok, so I don't understand these new directions. I got my homework working fine without using either of those functions. If I put blocking play in, then the music and the dancing turtles won't run simultaneously. Do we HAVE to use blockingPlay? It seems counterproductive...
The short answer is no you don't have to use blockingPlay(). We DO want your music and your turtles to go at the same time. Just like in real life, turtles don't dance when there is no music. Music doesn't play when there aren't turtles dancing. HA.
