A Cryptographic Phone

In 1997 the team of Kevin Fu, Ben Adida, and Rodrigo Leroux designed and built a cryptographic phone. We started with a breadboard, copper wire, and a few chips. The final result allowed us to transmit encrypted voice over a copper pair. Alas, we did not have time to implement the the phone interface because at the last minute we toasted our vocoders donated from Qualcomm. Anyhow, we submit to the public domain our design and report under the GPL. Let us know if you use our design or if you have questions. Happy talking.
