Tintagel lies on the north shore of Cornwall.
A few years ago archeologists found a stone with
some scratching on it saying that "Artnou was born here."
So, this is sold to tourists as the castle where
Uther Pendragon conceived Arthur.
It is a peninsula jutting out into the sea:
