Hi, I am Shih-Chieh, currently an applied scientist at Microsoft AI & Research. I am working on ML/DL applications with an emphasis on computer vision. I obtained my Ph.D. at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, advised by Prof. Jason Mars and Prof. Lingjia Tang

I'm obsessed with technology and design shaping the future of the world, particularly in autonomous vehicles. I immerse myself in architecting future system design and am determined to reshape how we interact with technology.

My research focuses on system design and machine learning. Specifically, I work on improving end-to-end automonous driving systems by investigating the entire cross-layer stack from hardware architecture, to software system design, to human interaction interface.

Aside from all this, I am also an indie music lover.

Thanks for stopping by. resume
