I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I am working with Professor Yaoyun Shi in theorectical computer science.
I got my B.S. degree in mathematics and physics from the Academic Talent Program of School of Science, Tsinghua University in 2008.
In the summer of 2009 and 2010, I visited the Institute for Quantum Computing, University of Waterloo as a research assistant in Prof. John Watrous's group.
I am honored to become a member of Tau Beta Pi in Decemeber 2009.
My research interest lies in theoretical computer science, especially quantum information and computation, communication complexity, math programming and randomized/approximation algorithm design .
My current research tries to find the potential application of math programming and algebra techniques to theoretical computer science in general with special interest in quantum computation and information.
