I am Steven Whitaker. I am an Electrical and Computer Engineering PhD candidate majoring in Signal and Image Processing and Machine Learning at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I work with Professor Jeffrey A. Fessler and Dr. Jon-Fredrik Nielsen on quantitative magnetic resonance imaging (QMRI) and MR image reconstruction. My current research projects are quantifying myelin in the human brain and reconstructing MR images using a model that accounts for intravoxel effects of inhomogeneities in the main magnetic field.
