Radios Premium Resources International 8008CB Mello Yello Can, c. 1980 Mello Yello pop can with a "40 Channel CB Scanning Monitor" radio built in. Apparently, it tunes wide enough to receive all 40 channels at once as there is no tuning dial. In original box with instruction booklet. Made in Hong Kong by/for Hiraoka/Premium Resources International. The 40-channel CB band plan was implemented in 1977. Mello Yello was introduced in March of 1979. It can be seen on the Mello Yello web site under "The Story".
