Westinghouse WR-100, 1935-36
"Theater". On back: C. R. & T. C. Chicago (Continental Radio & Telev. Corp.).
Tubes: 25Z5, 6D6, 6C6, 43, KL50S2 ballast. Similar to Lafayette AS-5.
There are several differences between this radio and the WR-100. They are both pictured
on Machine Age To Jet Age Volume I, Second Edition 1998 by Mark V. Stein (2001 update
edition), page 208. The dial and knobs are higher on the WR-100 and the base is
cut slightly different. It is a 5 tube radio, no ballast, in a configuration that
would not likely fit into the same case as the "Theater" model. The WR-100 has 4
tubes across the back. It is not likely to fit into the "Theater" model, which
only has 3 tubes across the back.
