We sincerely welcome you to participate in the 37th AVS Michigan Spring Symposium. This year's event is dedicated to providing an overview of innovative scientific and technological developments in solid-state lighting technologies based on white-light LEDs for automotive and general lighting applications. We have invited world-renowned academic and industrial experts to give 8 invited talks throughout the day. The keynote will be presented by Professor E. Fred Schubert from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Professor Schubert's book Light-Emitting Diodes is one of the most well-known textbooks in this field. The highlights of the event include:
Vendor exhibition (open to public free of charge 10 am - 6pm)
Student poster session and award competition with cash prizes in total of $500!
