Modular Strategies for Internetwork Monitoring:  A collaborative ITR project funded by the NSF


        These are the webpages of the NSF funded project "Modular Strategies for Internetwork Monitoring," which is a collaborative ITR project between researchers at University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin, and Boston University. Our project addresses the longstanding and difficult problem of detecting and classifying spatially distributed network anomalies from multiple monitoring sites on the Internet. The basic scientific approach is illustrated by the block diagram in the figure shown below.
