LEGO WeDo Sensors Kit Lending Library for 2014-2015

The Institute for Computing Education (ICE) at Georgia Tech has 15 sets of LEGO WeDo tilt sensors and distance sensors that we can lend to schools. Please note that these are not complete WeDo kits, but just the USB connector, tilt sensor, and distance sensor. These can be used with Scratch 1.4 for driving and flying games. Each set comes in a zip lock bag. Each set needs to be returned intact.. You will have to leave a deposit of $50.00 when you borrow up to 8 sets and a deposit of $100.00 when you borrow up to 15 sets. If the kits are not returned intact the deposit will be forfeited. If you choose to leave the deposit in the form of a check make it payable to the "Georgia Institute of Technology". The check will be returned with a confirmation letter if the sets are returned on time and in good condition (with all parts).

Each school can borrow up to 15 of the sets at a time for a time period up to 3 weeks during the school year. We use the sets in our summer camps and teacher workshops in the summer. The teacher is responsible for picking up the sets from Georgia Tech and for returning the sets to Georgia Tech unless other arrangements have been made. The sign-up is first come first served.
