Location: Klaus Advanced Computing Building, Classroom 1447 Directions to the building.
Parking: State Street Parking Lot. Parking is $2.00 per hour. Parking directions for State Street.

Materials: Laptops (if needed), Google Accounts, Android Phones, earbuds
This workshop is free for Georgia teachers, and if you live > 30 miles from Georgia Tech we may pay for your hotel for Friday night (2 teachers per room), Friday night dinner, and Saturday breakfast. We have limited funds to support food and lodging for teachers and will notify you after you register if your food and lodging will be covered. Alcohol is not covered! If you would prefer a private room you will pay 1/2 the hotel cost which is $65. We will pay for lunch for all teachers. Space is limited to 30.

Dinner night prior to workshop: $15
Breakfast day of workshop: $6
For reimbursement, please provide the following:
- Submit original itemized receipts to workshop assistants at the end of the workshop. Failure to do so will delay payment significantly.
- Submit a New Vendor Profile Form if this is your first time requesting a reimbursement. Please download the form and complete Section "A". Save a copy to your computer by selecting "FILE'-'SAVE AS'. You can give the completed form to the workshop assistants or email it directly to us at: gatech.ice@gmail.com. New Vendor Profile Form.
Please bring a laptop if you have one, or notify us if you need to borrow a laptop. If you have any questions please send e-mail to gatech.ice@gmail.com.
Out-of-state teachers pay $140. You can pay online at: Secure Online Marketplace. We do not accept personal checks.
After completing this workshop teachers will be able to:
Set up a computer and phone for App Inventor 2
Create apps that use GUI elements such as buttons, labels, image sprites, and timers
Create apps that use the accelerometer and camera
Create apps that use lists
Know where to go for more tutorials and resources
Know how to borrow phones from Georgia Tech's Lending Library
