Materials: Laptops, mice and chargers (1 per student), EV3 kits (1 per student), Expansion kits (6), balls, foam core board and tape
Meet the new EV3 Robotics system from Lego! In this workshop we will explore the features of the EV3 robotics system using Lego’s drag and drop programming system. The EV3 features a faster processor with more memory, Bluetooth, and sensors. We will build the tank-bot and program the robot to move through a course and use the color sensor to track and avoid obstacles.
4. Connect Motors and Sensors to EV3 – identify input and output.
5. EV3 Software drag and drop blocks for motor control and sensor data.

7. Programming the EV3 to react to the environment. (Seek out and move objects by color). Students will have choice to build attachments such as spinner, bazooka, claw, or hammer.
Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policies
Workshop payments should be received 2 weeks prior to class start. If your payment is not received by that time, your child will be withdrawn from the class. If you need special consideration, please email us at gatech.ice@gmail.com.
All refunds will be made in the form of the original payment, with the exception of cash payments, which will be paid by check. Please allow up to four weeks to receive check refunds.
No refunds will be issued once class begins. If a cancellation is done more than 2 weeks in advance, we will provide a full refund.
