App Inventor and Telepresence Robotics

Description

Connect with the outside and portable world. Computing leaves the screen and the table with Android and NXT Robotics. Harness the power of the Android operating system and App Inventor as we learn to create programs for the portable computer. Students will use App Inventor to write graphics and event driven games for Android devices. In addition, students will explore Telepresence Robotics by developing remote machines that work with the Android phone to complete simulations and real world tasks.

App Inventor is a free web based tile programming system for the Android operating system sponsored by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. More information on App Inventor can be found at: http://appinventor.mit.edu/
