Attendance for Jan 23, 2011 - Advanced Scratch and Alice
The Institute for Computing Education (ICE) is offering a workshop on advanced topics in Alice and Scratch on Sunday Jan 23, 2011 from 9:30am - 4:00pm in room 345 of the College of Computing Building at Georgia Tech. Teachers will need to do 2 hours of extra work and participate in 2 webinars to get credit for the workshop (1 PLU). Teachers must have some previous experience with Scratch and Alice to attend this workshop.

Public school middle and high school teachers must register on http://www.ctaern.org for workshop CTAERN3138. Everyone must also register at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QTQQTPD.

This workshop is free for Georgia teachers, and if you live > 30 miles from Georgia Tech we will pay for your hotel for Saturday night (2 teachers per room), Saturday night dinner, and Sunday breakfast. If you would prefer a private room you can pay 1/2 the hotel cost. We will cover parking for Georgia teachers who stay at the hotel and reimburse parking for Georgia teachers who do not stay at the hotel. We will pay for lunch for all teachers. Space is limited to 30.

Please bring a laptop if you have one, or notify us if you need to borrow a laptop.

Out-of-state teachers pay $140. Checks for $140.00 should be made out to Georgia Institute of Technology and sent to:

Teachers must do two hours of addtional work and also participate in two one-hour webinars to get credit. One webinar will be from 4pm -5pm on Wednesday Feb 16, and Feb 23rd. Teachers must complete their two hours of addtional work by the 2nd webinar on Feb 23rd, 2011.
