Robots that "Do!"

Students will design and build Robots that complete challenges based on real world problems. In "Robot Rescue" students must build and program a robot to go into the playing area and retrieve objects - simulating a rescue scenario.
In "Clean Up" students must program a robot to into a "danger zone" and clear obstacles. This simulates toxic cleanup or mine-sweeping.
Both robotics activities seek to model situations where robots are used to do dirty or dangerous jobs.

The workshop will take place in the College of Computing, room 345. The workshops run from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
