Question: How close does a zombie have to be to consider it an attack? Also, is a step a pixel? What should we consider a step?

Try and see if you can get so that the zombie lands on the person. If that doesn't work try within like 5 steps or something. A steps is sort of like a pixel but has more to do with the distance as well. A good method to use is the getDistance(int x, int y) method found in SimpleTurtle. In timestep, you should run through all of the agents and have them act in some way. Dawn Finney.

Question: When you do the part,

If a zombie comes within 10 steps of a normal person, its speed will double and continue chasing that person until that person is caught and killed, the person confuses the zombie and escapes or the zombie itself is killed.

After the zombie locates the closest person and doubles its speed, how does it chase the person until one of these events occur? Do we create probability for each of these events?

The zombie will have a reference to its victim and will continue catching that person until the victim is caught, the zombie is confused or the zombie is killed. When the person is caught, the zombie executes a zombie attack with the following probability: A person has a 50% chance of being killed, 30% chance of being bitten, 10% chance of not being harmed, 5% chance of killing the zombie and 5% chance of confusing the zombie and escaping completely each time the zombie attacks.
