Question: I'm a little confused about the BST part of the assignment- for the REMOVEDkedList segment, we can just use the REMOVEDkedList built into Java. But as far as I know, there is no prebuilt BST in Java or in the java-source. Are we just supposed to supplement the Word.java with the minimum code needed to use a Word as a BST node?

Yes, you should be able to add left and right fields to the Word, and then use the Word as a BSTNode. On the other hand, you are welcome to write a separate BSTNode (but in doing so, you will be doing unnecessary work...I suggest just modifying the Word class and using that). In the BSTShakespeare class you will have a global root variable (whereas in the LLShakespeare class you probably had a global REMOVEDkedList variable). If you wrote things correctly, then your only major changes will come in the insert and toString methods. Think about the logic of inserting a Word into a BST. - Student1086

Question: Could you be specific about what punctuation we have to include in StringTokenizer delimiters? I've included ":", ";", ",", ".", "?", "!", "'", """. Are these good enough?

Remember what you are trying to accomplish here. One of these characters should not be included (as it specifically says in the write-up), and another needs to be added (what is the most common delimiter in written text?). Otherwise, as long as it correctly separates Mercy.txt, then we are happy. Student1086

Question: Are we supposed to take in "Mercy.txt" as our input? I mean, do we copy and paste the text inside main method or the main method automatically reads in the text?

Yes, you should cut and paste each line from Mercy.txt into your main method as follows:

LLShakespeare<Word> ll = new LLShakespeare<Word>();
ll.add(“The quality of mercy is not strain'd,”);
ll.add(“It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven”);
