Making Apps with App Inventor - October 5, 2013


Time: 12pm-3pm
Open to Girl Scouts: 6th-12th grades
Max Girls: 40 (break them into middle school group and high school group)
Location: Klaus Advanced Computing Building, 2447 and 2456

Make apps that talk for you, tell your future, and let you mash a mole with App Inventor. App Inventor is free software for making Android apps. Programming your app is easy with App Inventor since you just snap together blocks to tell the computer what to do.

Materials: laptops (1 per 2 girls) plus one for the instructor, chargers, mice, cell phones (1 per 2 girls) App Inventor printed materials from Distance Learning site.
