Cancelled - LEGO WeDo and Scratch - Feb 16, 2013

LEGO WeDo and Scratch: Learn to create a top spinner, ball kicker and goalie and try to make a goal!
This workshop is for 4th - 6th grade students. Maximum: 40 students

Scratch is a free software from MIT available at: http://scratch.mit.edu that you can use to create 2D animations, games, art, and music. Programming may seem difficult, but in our Scratch Programming workshop we make it simple and fun!

This event will be held from 12pm to 3pm in Klaus Advanced Computing building, room 1447. Directions to the Klaus building can be found here: http://coweb.cc.gatech.edu/ice-gt/564. Parking is free on the weekends in the State Street Parking lot on the corner of State Street and Ferst Drive. You can reach State Street by going West on 10th Street after you exit I-75/85. Turn left on State Street (South) and it ends at the Visitor Parking Lot (on your left as you enter). Signs will be placed to guide you to the Klaus building.

Before the students arrive, you should log them into the laptops and the url for the Pre survey. When they enter the room they will be ready to take the Pre survey.
