Other computing summer camps in Georgia in 2012

With Georgia Tech's ICE camps there were 69 sessions of computing summer camps in Georgia in the summer of 2012 and the Govenor's Honors Program borrowed our cell phones for App Inventor. Our "seeded" camps offered 40 sessions. Georgia Tech offered 11 sessions. High School teachers offered 16 sessions. Another group at Georgia Tech offered 2 sessions for high school students.

The College of Computing will be running 2 additional weeks of summer camps on physical computing for rising 9th - 12th grade students and entering college freshman! More information on these camps can be found here:

Columbus State University - (11 sessions)
Georgia Gwinnett College in Gwinnett (3 sessions - 2 for middle school and 1 for high school)
Mercer University in Macon (8 weeks - 4 for elementary and 4 for middle/high)
Spelman College in Atlanta (5 weeks - 2 for middle school and 3 for high school)
University of Georgia (20 camps to choose from - ages 11-17 but 3 in computing)
Valdosta State University in Valdosta (2 weeks - 1 for middle school and 1 for high school)
Georgia Tech Savannah- (8 weeks - 3 weeks for Elementary, 3 weeks for Middle School, and 2 weeks for High School)

The Walker School
The Walker School - Robotics Camps June 11-15th (robots I grades 2-3) and June 20-24th (Scratch and Robots II grades 4-5) - (1 week for rising 2nd and 3rd graders and 1 week for rising 4th and 5 graders)

Grayson Computer Camps
Grayson High School will be offering one week of computer camp June 25-27th - (1 week; 2 sessions: rising 2nd-5th graders and rising 6th-8th graders)
