Roster for February 19th - Mindstorms NXT Robotics: Robotic Hands! - 25 students
Using a pre-built design from http://nxtprograms.com/robot_arm/steps.html students will:
Program Arm and Hand to perform following tasks:
Transfer ball from one point to another
Throw an a ball at a target
Add touch sensors to arm to refine movements
Wave and Greet
Play a melody on a pitched percussion instrument
Students will also modify arm design to experiment with different mechanical ideas.
The workshop will take place in the College of Computing, room 345. The workshops run from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
