Comment area for Week of April 17

Now that you've come down from your post-Easter chocolate-bunny-induced sugar high (and low)...

Let us hear you!

Well, I like the sit-down. Feels more like a test. And then I don't have to worry about getting it done along with everything else.
But, then, I don't really see the need to be out of here by Friday... I kinda like the place.
~Jim

Once again it depends on the difficulty of the exam. I need multiplers. 1 take-home exam = X # of sit down exams. Solve for X, then ask me again.

Where X = 42.
:)   Seriously though, think about the in-class exams. I like those. Not too bad. More than reasonable, in fact.
Now we want something harder? Something that we have to take time to do during finals week?

Folks, count on a sit-down final on Friday at 2:50. I'll get a review up next week. Mark Guzdial

Whichever test is easier I'm down, take-home or sit-down exam. Now that's a pragmatic approach.
