It's diagram one...... and it will play like: guzdial,is,snap, clink, snap, clave, guzdial,is,is,(half as long{guzdial,is,gong}),(Twice as long{clink, clave, gong, rest, chirp, clap}),clap, clap, clave, snap, snap, clave, snap, snap, clave. Removed at TB request

i piced the fourth one Removed at KS request

but if it was four when you played it it would have guzdial, is, gong play first wouldn't it?
Kyle DuPont

i don't actually know, I really can't figure out which one is right because scaledbranch 0.5 is a child of branch1. I guess I just think four makes more sense. i don't know, help? Removed at KS request

Play it and see. Mark Guzdial

Here's a common mistake I saw on the last midterm and in people's thinking about our trees: Only ONE thing can be a child of a node. All other "children" are connected by next links to that first child. A branch doesn't point to multiple children. Mark Guzdial

Ok, so since only one thing can be a child of a node, it has to be number one rather than four (because in four the scaledbranch under branch 1 is a child, but it actually has to be a next). Does that fit with what you are saying, since branch1 already has the first sound node as its child? As for how it would play, I got the same thing as Tannis, and when I listened to it, that was what it sounded like! Student161

sometimes it takes an introduction to find out that guzdial is gong

ok i got one now. thanks for the help. Removed at KS request
