Question: In order to have the corn multiply, I created an addCorn() method in Model.java. But I can't get it to be successfully called from Corn.java. For example, mySolution.Model.addCorn(); results in an Error: non-static method addCorn() cannot be referenced from a static context. I can't figure out how to get this to work. I know an accessor must be used, because lst is private.

I think putting the addCorn method in the Model class is a good thing to do. However I do not believe having the Corn class responsible for creating the new Corn objects is a good idea despite what the description says. The Model is more of the manager of the entire simulation and it should be the one adding and removing Agents. It is better to mark the Corn as something like pregnant state and then have the Model check the Corn's state after the Corn update and add more Corn if it is pregnant.

If you want to just fix your original compilation problem, you can just make the addCorn method static (but that may raise more issues). Dawn Finney.
