• Storytelling Alice from http://www.alice.org/kelleher/storytelling/index.html and add a desktop icon called StoryAlice.
• PicoBlocks software for the PicoCrickets from http://www.picocricket.com/support.html and add a desktop icon called PicoBlocks.
• MySkit software for Pleo http://www.dogsbodynet.com/myskit/index.html and add a desktop icon called MySkit.

• Latest Version of Alice 3.0 from http://www.alice.org/index.php?page=alice3/download and add a desktop icon called Alice-3.0
• BYOB version of Scratch http://byob.berkeley.edu/ - add a desktop icon called BYOB-Scratch
• LEGO NXT-G software version 2.1 (we have a CD for this) and add an icon on the desktop for this
  • create a directory LEGO_NXT_Materials in c:\workshops and put in the building instructions for the Mayan adventure robots: StringBot, ExploreBot, and GrabberBot
  • also load Robot-c on all
  • and the curriculum for Robot-c and Tetrix (Jeff has this)
• download Java (1.6) from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html
• Jes 4.3 ("jes-4-3-nojava.exe") downloaded from http://code.google.com/p/mediacomp-jes/ and add a desktop icon called JES
  • also download mediasources.zip from http://coweb.cc.gatech.edu/mediaComp-teach#Python and put this in a folder called ipbook on the C drive
• Greenfoot 2.0 (new version) downloaded from http://www.greenfoot.org/download/index.html and add a desktop icon called Greenfoot.
• Alice 2.2b (a new version "Alice 2.2 for Windows with Learning to Program with Alice textbook worlds (318MB)" under Alternate Downloads) from http://www.alice.org/index.php?page=downloads/download_alice2.2 and add a desktop icon called Alice2.2b
• Create a directory for PicoCricketMaterials in c:/Workshops and download the "Setup Guide", "Getting Started", "Troubleshooting", and "Reference Manual" from http://www.picocricket.com/support.html
  • Also add a sub directory "Ideas" and download all the placemat activities and motion modules from http://www.picocricket.com/project-ideas.html into that directory.
• Create a directory for ScratchMaterials in c:/workshops and download the "Getting Started Guide" from http://info.scratch.mit.edu/sites/infoscratch.media.mit.edu/files/file/ScratchGettingStartedv14.pdf, "Scratch Cards" from http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Support/Scratch_Cards and "Scratch Reference" from http://info.scratch.mit.edu/sites/infoscratch.media.mit.edu/files/file/ScratchReferenceGuide14.pdf
  • Create a WeDo sub directory and add the mini guide from here: http://scratched.media.mit.edu/sites/default/files/WeDoScratchMiniGuide.pdf
    • And add these WeDo projects to the WeDo subdirectory WeDo Projects.zip
    • and load cd WeDo software 2 (2009580) of how to build the projects.
