Biography
Vikram A. Thakar received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University, Pune, India in 2006. After graduation, Vikram worked at Larsen and Toubro Ltd and SVeL Sensors and Controls Pvt. Ltd. Currently he received his M.S. in Microsystem Technology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2014. His research interests include MEMS sensors, micromechanical RF resonators and filters and microfabrication techniques. He joined Sand 9 after defending his thesis in May 2014.
