U-M Online was a package of computing services that the University offers to alumni and others affiliated with
the University. In the past, when students left campus, they no longer had access to the University computing environment.

The Museum Educational Site Licensing
(MESL) Project existed 07/95 thru 06/98 to make museum information more accessible through electronic technology. MESL was restricted to local users under a license agreement executed by all participating institutions.

IRAP Web Security Coordination Project
The Web Security cross-task project was formed to coordinate efforts in evaluating, developing, and implementing different authentication and authorization schemes for Web systems in the Information, Research, & Access Products.
