Duties and Responsibilities:
The Conferencing On the Web (COW) is a Web-based conferencing system. Developing COW source code and documentation; advising faculty and students concerning problems arising from use of the system. Evaluating different authentication and authorization schemes for Web systems. Implementing the authentication and authorization schemes for various IRAP (Information, Research, & Access Products) Web services. Confer U (Confer on UNIX) provides many-to-many electronic communication for the U of M community, and is used to facilitate group discussion and decision making among participants (over 10,000 users). Developing and maintaining of Confer U source code and documentation; Confer U server maintenance & troubleshooting. Confer U Expert Consulting. Development, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the U-M E-Mail system serving the University community over 40,000 active users (UNIX & MTS platforms). | |
