EECS 545 Project Proposal Guidelines

Your written proposal should not exceed four pages (including figures and tables), plus references which will not count toward the page limit. The proposal should be formatted with 12 point font and 1 inch margins. It need not be four pages in length if you don't need that much space. Please hand it in to me in class on Wednesday Nov. 16.

Please be sure to specifically address:

Motivation
Clear, mathematical problem statement
Background, context with respect to related work
Evaluation plan and data
Innovative aspects
Projected group member responsibilities and tasks

Of course some of these details might change as you work more on the project, so just be as accurate as you can.
