    LOW PROFILE COCKTAIL TABLE

Spill confronts the disparity of spatial demands between Japanese and Western contemporary furniture design. The Japanese concept of "ma" refers to the perception of space projected by an object. Through Western interpretation, "ma" manifests into a notion of optional space. Through accommodative 2-piece composition and removal of excess core mass, a typically bulky monolith becomes transportation practical and modest in weight.

Scrap MDF, polyester resin, and automotive paint. 2 pcs.
