• Where: Chrysler Center Auditorium (220).
• Review: In both lectures Thursday February 7.

• Bring: Closed book; 2 sides of 8.5 × 11 inch "cheat sheet."
• Bring: No bluebooks (write answers directly on exam).
• Bring: Calculators NOT allowed (nor needed).

• Lecture: Tuesday January 8-Thursday January 31.
• Problem Sets: #1-4 with readings as assigned in them.

  Topics emphasized on this exam:
• Signals: Impulses, steps, periods of sum of sinusoids
• Signals: Scaling and shifting (translation) of signals
• Systems: Are they LTI, BIBO stable, causal, memoryless?
• Systems: Impulse response, series and parallel connections
• Compute: Simple convolutions and system responses
• Compute: Frequency response of systems to sums of sinusoids
• NO: Fourier series (will definitely be on exam #2), ZIR, ZSR
