EECS 216 EXAM #1 INFORMATION
- When: Thursday February 7, 7:00-9:00 PM.
- Where: Chrysler Center Auditorium (220).
- Review: In both lectures Thursday February 7.
- Bring: Closed book; 2 sides of 8.5 × 11 inch "cheat sheet."
- Bring: No bluebooks (write answers directly on exam).
- Bring: Calculators NOT allowed (nor needed).
Coverage of Material:
- Lecture: Tuesday January 8-Thursday January 31.
- Problem Sets: #1-4 with readings as assigned in them.
Topics emphasized on this exam:
- Signals: Impulses, steps, periods of sum of sinusoids
- Signals: Scaling and shifting (translation) of signals
- Systems: Are they LTI, BIBO stable, causal, memoryless?
- Systems: Impulse response, series and parallel connections
- Compute: Simple convolutions and system responses
- Compute: Frequency response of systems to sums of sinusoids
- NO: Fourier series (will definitely be on exam #2), ZIR, ZSR
