Have worked on Low-power and High performance Interconnect scheme, known as Booster Circuit or Self-timed Regenerator.
As the design of general purpose microprocessor getting more and more mature, there sees plenty of space for design peripherals for large SOC (System On Chip). And many of them are ASIC (Application Specified IC). They have many advantages than a general purpose microprocessor: usually more energy efficient and faster. It can serve as an accelerator of an algorithm demanding huge computation power. So I am now interested in Application Specific IC Designs and DSP chips like security application or speech/keyword detection/recognition area.
